Purple & Gold Ornamental Mani

I always have hard time naming a mani and this is no exception. This is done by BP-17 plate sent by Harunouta (aka Born Pretty Store, catered for Japanese customers) for review.

For this mani, I started off with two coats of Dance Legend Just Another Star, then placed two sets of straight tape from What's Up Nail Art Store to form a skinny triangle shape. I painted the triangle in black and once that's dry, stamped an ornamental pattern from BP-17 plate with Mundo de Uñas Gold only on the black part. I then added gold striping tape and finished off with Essence Better than Gel nails topcoat. 

For thumb, pointer, and pinkie, I simply added black and gold square studs bought from ebay. 

I'm so in love with this lush look. This sparkly purple Dance Legend, the colour combo, and this gorgeous ornamental pattern from BP-17 match so well together. I can't help calling this 'Maharaja Mani' in my head :D

Finished product, with Essence better than gel nails topcoat

ベースはDance Legend Just Another Starを２度塗り。What's Up Nail Art Storeで購入した直線テープを２つ、細長い三角形を形成するように爪に配置。三角形の部分を黒で塗り、乾いたらその部分にBP-17の柄をMundo de Uñas Goldでスタンプ。スタンプした箇所を縁取るようにゴールドのラインテープを置き、Essence Better than Gel nailsトップコート（Nail of This WeekのChiroさんからのいただきもの）で仕上げ。

中指と薬指以外はebayで買ったゴールドと黒のスクエアスタッズを配置。使用ポリッシュはこちら。

This is the base, two coats of Just Another Star. Outdoor shot. It was a cloudy day so the sparkles look subdued here.

これがベースのJust Another Star。屋外撮り。この上から黒を重ね塗りするので２度塗りにとどめましたが、単体で使うときは３度塗りのが断然美麗です。これを撮った時は曇りだったのでキラキラがあまり見えないのが残念。

しかし、、爪がだいぶ伸びてきたなぁ。最近は２ｃｍ以下だと短く感じるように。プレートの柄は２ｃｍのものが多いので、これ以上伸ばすとスタンプが困難になってきます。このBP-17プレートは前回の記事にも書いたように２．５ｃｍあるので余裕でした。

リングは旦那殿からのクリスマスプレゼントです。So Nailicious Boutiqueより。これはミディリングとして使うにはちと大き目ですが、カラフルで気に入っています。

今回のようなラインテープを使うネイルって、テープがすぐ剥がれてきてすぐオフする羽目になるのですが、Essenceのトップコートがいい働きをしてくれてしっかり貼りついてくれていました。

BP-17プレートのこの柄、豪奢な感じが気に入っています。ネイルの名前を付けるのにいつも苦心するのですが、心の中ではこれを「マハラジャ・ネイル」と呼んでいます(ﾟ∀ﾟ) 紫と金の組み合わせが醸し出す高貴な感じがお気に入り。
