I created my first design using Pueen Love Box 02 set I did a review on my previous post.

Middle & ring finger: I started off with base coat. I placed a circle tape from What's Up Nails near cuticle area, then painted the bottom part of the nails with Barry M Christmas Gold. I peeled off the tape and applied topcoat on the gold part. When that's dry, I placed 5 pieces of striping tape on the gold, painted black over them and peeled them off immediately. Then I made a stamping decal out of arched lacy pattern on Pueen Fairytale Lover 02 plate using Hit the Bottle I Wish I were a Mermaid, and coloured in with black polish. I placed the decals on these nails, added a triangle stud I bought in Japan, then finished off with HK Girl topcoat.

Thumb, pointer & pinkie: I started off with elcorazon Matte & Shine 163. I placed 3 sets of striping tape diagonally on these nails and painted black over them. I peeled the tapes immediately and finished off with topcoat.

I'm really loving this arched lacey stamp on Pueen plate, and I knew it would make an elegant mani. Stamp, tapes, and studs - This mani has everything I adore.

中指と薬指: ベースコートが乾いたらWhat's Up Nailsの円形テープをキューティクル付近に置き、Barry M Christmas Goldで爪の下半分を塗る。テープを剥がし、ゴールド部分にトップコートを塗る。乾いたらゴールド部分に５本のラインテープを置き、上から黒を塗ってすぐ剥がす。Pueen Fairytale Lover 02のアーチ型のレース模様をHit the Bottle I Wish I were a Mermaidでスタンプし、スタンパー上で黒を塗ってdecal作成。この２本の爪に乗せ、三角スタッズを配置してHK Girlトップコートでフィニッシュ。

親指、人差し指、小指: ベースはelcorazon Matte & Shine 163。ラインテープを３本斜めに置き、上から黒を塗る。テープを剥がしてトップコートでフィニッシュ。

こういうアーチ型のスタンプってあまり持っていないのですが、何かと使いやすくて好きです。前にも似たようなネイルをやっていますが、このときもnegative spaceネイルでしたね。聖パトリック・デーを意識したわけではないですが、今回は緑をチョイス。

Hit the BottleのI Wish I Were a Mermaidとelcorazonの緑、なかなかよくマッチしていると思いませんか？完全一致ではないですが、キラキラ具合といい色味といいだいぶ良く似ているので違和感なく仕上がったと思います。スタッズといいテープ使いといい、非常に「カシスっぽい」ネイルだなぁと自分で思う。いつもはデザインや色の選択でひとしきり悩むところを、このネイルに関してはほぼ即興で仕上げました。いつもこんなだといいんだけど。

With St. Patrick Day approaching, I thought I might create some Celtic mani. This is actually my first ever St. Pats/Celtic design.

I started off with Dior Brown Sugar for all my nails. I stamped a script pattern from Messy Mansion MM24 using Hit the Bottle Copper Haired Girl and Messy Mansion Crystal Stamper 1.0. Then I took few drops of A-England Virgin Queen & Fotheringhay Castle on makeup sponge, and dabbled randomly on my nails. Then I made stamping decals out of Celtic designs on Messy Mansion Symetrika 06 plate using Mundo de Uñas Military Green & Blue Gray, and coloured in with red, green, camel, and blue. I placed the decals on pointer, middle & ring finger, and finished off with HK Girl topcoat followed by Essie Matte About You.

Honestly I don't know much about anything Celtic, so I had a bit of googling to find out what sort of designs and colour scheme is appropriate. Then I remembered I had a fabulous script plate (Messy Mansion MM24), so I combined the script with Celtic designs to create this mani. I did a sponging with A-England shades and used rusty colours to create an antique effect. I really had fun creating this mani.

3月17日は聖パトリック・デーということで、それにちなんだケルトデザインを作成することにしました。出来上がりはこちら。

ベースは全爪Dior Brown Sugar。Messy Mansion MM24プレートの活字柄をHit the Bottle Copper Haired GirlとMessy Mansion Crystal Stamper 1.0でスタンプ。スポンジにA-England Virgin QueenとFotheringhay Castleを少量取り、爪にランダムに軽く乗せる。次に、Messy Mansion Symetrika 06プレートのケルト柄をMundo de Uñas Military GreenとBlue Grayでスタンプし、赤・緑・キャメル・青で色付けしてdecal化。decalを人差し指、中指、薬指に配置してHK Girlトップコートを塗り、さらにEssie Matte About Youでマット化。

This is the base before placing decals. I found out this particular script stamp on MM24
looks similar to Celtic script so I decided to go for it

ちなみにこれがdecalを乗せる前の状態。久々に親指登場。ネイルアーティストさんの中には写真に写らない親指を塗らない人もいるようですが、安心してください、ちゃんと塗ってますよ（笑。MM24の活字スタンプのうち、この字体がケルト文字に一番近かったのでこれにしました。

but seeing that the theme is 'ancient book', I think matte looks better

聖パトリックは西暦400年頃にアイルランドでキリスト教の伝道を行ったケルト人です。ということで、このネイルのテーマは「ケルトの古文書」。ケルトについてはあまり知識がなかったので、このネイルを作成するにあたってグーグル先生にだいぶ相談しました。特に「ケルトのデザインって一体どんな色を使ったらいいの？？」というのが一番悩んだ点。聖パトリック・デーの象徴とも言える緑はもちろんですが、他に赤や黄色が多く使われているようなので、古文書感を出すためにやや色あせた感じの色を採用しました。

ちなみに上の画像はマット化する前の状態。こちらの方がなんとなく色がビビッドに見えるので、よりアンティーク感を出すためにマットを採用。

手に持っているA-EnglandのVirgin Queen、実は使うの初めてです。しかもこんなチョイ役で申し訳ない・・（滝汗。でもアンティーク感を出したいと思ったときに真っ先に頭に浮かんだのがこのポリッシュ。ほとんどdecalの後ろに隠れちゃってますが、かなりいい味を出してくれていると思います。

どの指にどのデザインを乗せようかとか、色をどうしようかとか、いつもに増してあれこれ考えたネイルですが、その過程もまた楽しかったですね。親指と小指はベースのエフェクトを見せるためにdecalを乗せませんでした。テーマ性のあるネイルはやっぱり楽しい(ﾟ∀ﾟ)

I've spent the last couple of weeks tidying up the house and the yard to invite people for Christmas party. Our yard was quite a state after being neglected for nearly a month while we were in Japan, and with this hot weather, weeds grew so tall. Mowing isn't really my thing, and I'm so glad everything is over! I can finally sit down and do my nails. I also spent some time changing the look on my blog. Not completely done yet, but so far I'm liking the simple look.

Onto today's nails. I decided to create a mani using some A-England shades I recently bought.

Middle finger & ring finger: I started off with base coat then placed a piece of circle tape from What's Up Nail Art Store near cuticle, and painted A-England Avalon over the tape. Then I made a stamping decal out of laurel-crown-looking pattern on Pueen Fancy Lover 01 plate (review post here) using Hit the Bottle 'To Have and To Gold', coloured in with A-England Rose Bower and Cathy. I placed those decals on middle & ring finger, and finished off with HK Girl topcoat.

Thumb, pointer & pinkie: Base is A-England Cathy. I placed 4 sets of striping tapes vertically on those nails, and painted Rose Bower over the tapes. Added a gold stud and topcoat.

Out of all the beautiful images on this Pueen plate, this stamp really caught my eyes, and I thought it would look gorgeous with purple x gold combo. Glad it turned out the way I wanted!

更新がちょっと間が空いてしまいましたが、クリスマスもようやく終了してホッとしています。日本ではカップルのためのイベントみたいになっているクリスマスですが、こちらでは家族や親せきが一堂に会してバーベキューしたりするのが基本です。今年は新居での初クリスマスということもあり、親戚・友人を呼んでランチパーティをすることに。まずは酷暑で荒れ放題になった庭を手入れしなくては・・ということで、ここ２週間ほどは仕事を終えたら草刈りの毎日。放牧できるぐらいの無駄に広い庭なので刈っても刈っても終わらず・・・。とりあえず人様に見せられる程度の状態になってパーティも無事終わりました。ふぅ。

というわけで、ようやくのんびりと爪を塗る時間ができたので作ってみたネイルがこちら。

中指、薬指 : ベースコートの状態で開始。What's Up Nail Art Storeの円形テープをキューティクル付近に置き、上からA-England Avalonを塗ってテープを剥がす。Pueen Fancy Lover 01プレート（レビューはこちら）の月桂樹の冠のような柄をHit the Bottle 'To Have and To Gold'でスタンプし、A-England Rose BowerとCathyで色付けしてdecal作成。decalが乾いたら中指と薬指に配置してHK Girlトップコートで仕上げ。

親指、人差し指、小指 : ベースはA-England Cathy。ラインテープを４本垂直に置いて上からRose Bowerを塗って剥がす。金のスタッズを追加してトップコートで仕上げ。

I had a hard time naming this mani (as always). This stamp reminds me of laurel crown,
hence the name

PueenのFancy Loverプレートを見たときに一番最初に目に飛び込んできたのがこの柄でした。月桂樹の冠を思わせるカッコいい柄なので、紫と金を使って高貴な感じに仕上げてみました。それにしても、最近ゴールドスタンプ多くないか？自分。

This A-England Cathy is perfect as a base for nail arts, and I'm so glad I got this one

この間買ったばかりのA-England Cathy、ネイルアートのベースに使いやすい色ですね。ちょっともったりしているのが気になりますが、こういう薄い色系統もっと出してほしい。A-Englandはちょこちょこ集めて今１６本ほどですが、今回みたいにAEだけ使ったネイルアートができるようになって嬉しい限り。

というわけで2015年最後のネイルでした。ちなみに気付いた方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、先週あたりにブログのレイアウトを少し変更してみました。まだ直したいところは多々ありますが、シンプルになって割と好きです。いつもブログに遊びに来てくださる皆様、本年は大変お世話になりました。来年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

10 days till Christmas, and I finally created my first (and probably the only) Christmas mani this year.

I started off with A-England Bridal Veil for all my nails. Then I stamped a festive swirly pattern on Ejiubas EJB-03 plate using Hit the Bottle Paint the Town Violet (purple) or Poison Apple (red). I turned the plate over, as this plate is double-sided, and made stamping decals out of few different small images using Hit the Bottle To Have and to Gold, coloured in with red and green. For pinkie and thumb, I decided to stamp snowflake pattern using Urban Nail Art White. I added gold bullions to represent hanging chains, and finished off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.

I've had this 'hanging decoration' mani idea for quite a while, and glad I finally got to do this. I should probably have used green instead of purple, but all in all I'm happy with the look.

ちなみにこれが今回使った柄。B面の方は特に、可愛い小さな柄が所狭しと詰まっているので、使い甲斐のあるプレートじゃないかと思います。

このチェーンでモノがぶら下がっているような感じのネイル、ずっとやりたいと思ってアイデアを温めていました。３バージョンぐらい作って試行錯誤してようやくこれに落ち着きました。色は紫よりも緑にした方がクリスマスっぽさが出たかもしれませんが、HTBのグリーンは本当に発色が鮮やかなので、ベースのスタンプに使ってしまうとその上のdecalが目立たなくなる恐れがあるということで紫に。だいぶ落ち着いた感じになっちゃいましたが、まあいっか^_^;

というわけでクリスマスネイル、ようやく作成できてホッとしています。ハロウィンもそうですが、ホリデーもののネイルって苦手なのですよ・・・。全世界のネイルアーティストさんたちが同じ時期に一斉にホリデーネイルを披露してくるわけで、誰ともデザインを被りたくないカシスとしてはやりにくいのです。でも他にはあまりないクリスマスデザインができたかな、とちょっと満足です。

The incredibly busy October is almost coming to an end, and in a couple of days I'll be flying back to Japan for 3 weeks. I really can't wait! I haven't seen my family for 2 years, and I miss them so much. Here's one last mani before I'm off to holiday.

Thumb, middle finger & ring finger: I started off with base coat. I stamped a floral pattern on Marianne Nails No.97 (review post here) with Hit the Bottle Hello Buttercup (review post here), and coloured in with Madam Glam Blue is the One (review post here). I painted Madam Glam Temptation over the stamp and let it dry for 30 mins. I peeled the decal off, cut it and placed on my nails. I added some pearls I bought from Bundle Monster, and finished off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.

Pointer & pinkie: I painted Madam Glam Temptation and added a pearl and gold bullions around it.

I just love this magenta colour so much. It looks pink in the photo but it's more purple in real life. Such a pleasant colour to wear! I couldn't help pairing it up with this bright yellow stamping polish which is Hit the Bottle Hello Buttercup. This mani reminds me of some oriental dress, and I'm super happy with the result.

日本への帰国日があと数日に迫ってきました。待ち遠しい、本当に待ち遠しい(；▽；) 帰国は２年ぶり。約３週間ほど、仕事もネイルも忘れて思いっきり羽を伸ばしてきます。

さて、帰国前にMarianne Nailsのプレートを使ったネイルをもう１つ作っておこうということで考えたのがこちら。

親指、中指、薬指: ベースコートでスタート。Marianne Nails No.97（レビューはこちら）の花柄をHit the Bottle Hello Buttercup（レビューはこちら）でスタンプし、Madam Glam Blue is the One（レビューはこちら）で色付け。Madam Glam Temptationをスタンプ柄の上に塗り、３０分ほど乾かす。decalをスタンパーから剥がして切って爪に乗せる。Bundle Monsterで買ったパールを乗せ、仕上げはGlisten & Glow HK Girlトップコート。

人差し指と小指: Madam Glam Temptationを塗り、パールとブリオンを追加。

Everything went smoothly except for the gold bullions. Those little things are hard to apply!

このベースのマジェンタなんですが、前も言ったように写真はだいぶピンク寄りです。実際はもっと深いセクシーな紫なんです。塗っていて本当に気持ちのいい色。Hit the Bottle Hello Buttercupとの色の相性も抜群ですね(ﾟ∀ﾟ)。

I don't use pearls often so it was nice for a change

タイトルの「Brocade」なんですが、「錦織」という意味だそうです。インスタに「素敵なBrocadeデザインね！」とコメントしてくださった方がいて、Brocadeってなんぞ？と辞書で調べたのですｗいつもネイルの命名に苦労するんですが、Brocadeいいじゃん！と思ってMagenta Brocadeと命名。それまでは何も思いつかなかったので危うく「パールと花ネイル」とかいう名前になるところでしたよ（笑。ちょっと中華風のドレスっぽい感じがなかなか気に入っています。

With so many awesome designs on Lace Blossom and Make Your Day sets kindly sent by Pueen, I didn't know where to start! It took a while but this is the first design I settled on.

Thumb, middle finger & ring finger: I started off with just base coat. I cut a triangle piece off masking tape, placed that on top part of those nails, and painted Picture Polish o'hara over the nails. I peeled off the tape, leaving triangle negative space on my nails. Then I applied Protect 'n Peel by Hit the Bottle around my cuticle and the negative space, and stamped a hypnotic/geometric pattern from Pueen 116 plate using Ya Qin An Black, and peeled off the latex barrier. I then made a stamping decal out of zipper pattern on Pueen 109 plate using Hit the Bottle 'To Have and To Gold', and place it to negative space. I finished off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.

Pointer & pinkie: I started off with base coat, used a french tip tape from What's Up Nail Art Store, then painted JOSS More Nail Gold over the nails. I peeled off the tape, covered the negative space and cuticle with Protect 'n Peel, and stamped the same pattern on Pueen 116.

I have been wanting to do a zipper mani for a long long time and I'm glad I finally got to do it! I have another zipper plate from other brand, but I couldn't use it because of the shallow etching. These Pueen plates from Make Your Day set stamp flawlessly. I love those smaller images on this set. It lets me get creative in combining images to create a fun mani.

親指、中指、薬指: ベースコートでスタート。マスキングテープを三角に切り取って爪の上方に乗せ、上からPicture Polish o'haraを塗る。テープを剥がしてしばらく乾かしたら、キューティクル周辺と爪の三角部分にHit the BottleのProtect 'n Peelを塗って数分乾かし、Pueen 116プレートの幾何学模様をYa Qin An Blackでスタンプしてラテックスを剥がす。次に、Pueen 109のジッパー柄をHit the Bottle 'To Have and To Gold'でスタンプし、decalを作成。これを三角部分に乗せる。仕上げはGlisten & Glow HK Girlトップコート。

人差し指と小指: ベースコートでスタートし、What's Up Nail Art Storeのフレンチテープを置いて上からJOSS More Nail Goldを塗る。テープを剥がしてキューティクル周辺と素爪部分をProtect 'n Peelでカバーして上からPueen 116の同じ柄をスタンプ。

changed my mind and went for red x gold

ジッパーネイル、ず～っとやりたかったのですがようやくできました。ジッパースタンプは他のブランドのプレートで持っているのですが、彫りが浅くて使い物にならず。このPueenのMake Your Dayはバッチリ綺麗にスタンプしてくれたのでようやく実現。

最近negative spaceネイル（一部素爪が見えてるネイル）になぜかハマっています。小指がかなり黄変してるのでちと迷いましたけどね。

Picture Polishを使ったので恒例の「PP持ち」もやっておいたｗこのネイル、最初は青ベースでやろうと思ったのですが色合わせがうまくいかず結局赤になり、赤と合わせる色でまた悩んで結局ゴールドに。ゴールドが派手すぎてちょっとバブル期のジュリアナ風になってしまいましたが（汗。ジッパーからチラリと覗く素爪がちょいエロ。

We've had few days this week when the temperature went up to 30 degrees. Geez, I thought we just came into spring, didn't we? I'm not complaining because sunny day means perfect day for wearing holos!

Thumb, middle & ring finger: I started with just base coat, then covered the top half of with a piece of masking tape, painted A-England Rose Bower at the bottom half and peeled off tape. Then paint Hit the Bottle Protect 'n Peel on cuticle area and the bare part of the nail, and let dry for few minutes. I stamped a circle geometric pattern on Fab Ur Nails FUN17 using Mundo de Uñas Silver on the red part, and peeled off Protect 'n Peel. I topcoated then placed striping tape and masking tape to create a triangle shape, painted A-England Incense Burner, and peeled off tapes. I finished off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.

Pointer & pinkie: 2 coats of A-England Rose Bower, topped with silver studs bought from ebay.

This mani has everything I love - holo, tapes, studs, and of course stamping! I had a bit of staining on my nails after I did the chevron x fruit mani, so I made the negative space as tiny as possible. I still like the look, and those a-England shades complement each other so perfectly.

こちらオーストラリアでは今月から春に入ったばかりですが、今週は既に30度越えの日が。待ちに待った季節、これからはがんがんホロを塗っていくぜ！ということで作ったのが今回のネイル。出来上がりはこちら。

人差し指と小指: A-England Rose Bowerを２度塗りし、ebayで買ったシルバースタッズを追加。

I like using masking tape (called washi tape as well) and striping tapes.
Lines always come out crisp and straight compared to other types of tape

このネイルはホロ（しかもa-England）、スタッズ、テープ、それからスタンピングと、カシスの好きなものがいっぱい詰まっています。三角部分のIncense Burnerもいい味出してますね～(ﾟ∀ﾟ)

It always makes me happy when I wear a-England polishes. I'm already making wishlist to get more!

シェブロンｘフルーツネイルをしたときに爪がだいぶ黄変してしまったので、素爪部分は最小限に留めました。いつも塗るだけで幸せな気分にさせてくれるa-England。新作がもうすぐ出るそうなのでまた折りを見て増やしていきたいと思います。

I'd like to start this post by mentioning a serious incident that has been caused by some nail polishes by the indie brand Mentality Nail Polish. If you have nail polishes of this brand, I recommend you stop using them immediately. It was found that some unsafe ingredients were used in some batches of their polishes that could result in serious harm to your nails and fingers. If you'd like to know in details, please read this post by The Mercurial Magpie. You'll see the actual pictures of damaged nails of those who used particular Mentality polishes. I personally don't have any of their polishes, but I'd like to alert those who do and don't know about this incident.

Onto today's mani. Out of 5 beautiful plates sent to me by Fab Ur Nails (review post here), I picked FUN16 plate to create this look.

Thumb, middle finger & ring finger: I started off with A-England Dancing with Nureyev (soft blue holo) or Her Rose Adagio (soft pink holo). I stamped a beautiful damask pattern on Fab Ur Nails FUN16 plate using Hit the Bottle Blue-tiful and Poison Apple. I painted black over the stamp on stamper, and waited for 40 minutes. I peeled it off, cut in diamond shape and placed it on those nails. I finished off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat and added two ss8 swarovski crystals I bought from Born Pretty Store.

Pointer & pinkie: Same polishes as base. I added fleur-de-lis charm I bought in Japan plus some pink diamond studs (only on pointer) which I believe were gifted by MoYou London.

I also used Fab Ur Nails neon pink stamper and the scraper for this mani, and I'm so happy with how well these work. There are close to 30 images on this FUN16 plate, and I really can't wait to use it again!

では今日のネイル。前回のポストで紹介したFab Ur Nailsの製品を使ったネイル第１弾。出来上がりはこちら。

親指、中指、薬指 : ベースはA-England Dancing with Nureyev (青ホロ) またはHer Rose Adagio (パステルピンクホロ)。Fab Ur Nails FUN16のダマスク柄をHit the Bottle Blue-tifulおよび Poison Appleでスタンプ。スタンパー上で黒のポリッシュを厚めに塗り、40分程度乾かす。スタンパーから剥がしてダイヤ型に切り取り、爪に乗せる。Glisten & Glow HK Girlトップコートを塗ってからBorn Pretty Storeで購入したss8スワロフスキーを乗せる。

人差し指と小指 : ベースは同じポリッシュ。楽天で購入した百合の紋章のメタルパーツを追加。人差し指にはさらに（確かMoYou Londonからいただいた）ピンクのダイヤスタッズを追加。

I couldn't resist doing something elegant with this beautiful damask pattern from FUN16, so
I paired with fabulous A-England holos and gorgeous Hit the Bottle stamping polishes.
I'm quite loving this combo!

FUN16には30近い柄があってどれを最初に使おうか目移りしてしまいましたが、まずこのダマスク柄を使用。エレガントな柄なのでダイヤ型に切り取り、さらに合わせたポリッシュも大好きなA-EnglandとHit the Bottleスタンピングポリッシュ。スワロと合わせてキラッキラな感じに仕上がりました。

I haven't worn this Dancing with Nureyev (blue) properly, but it's such a pleasant polish to wear
with awesome formulate. Same goes with Her Rose Adagio

Dancing with Nureyevをちゃんと塗ったのは実は初めてです。この柔らかいscatteredホロに萌えます。A-Englandは本当に塗っていて気持ちが上がります。

ちなみに今回のネイルではFab Ur Nailsのネオンピンクスタンパーとスクレイパーを使用しています（１つ前の記事参照）。スタンパーもさることながら、このスクレイパーの硬さとサイズが絶妙でなかなか使いやすいです。いいスタンパーを探しているんだけど見つからない！という方はお試しを。

I've had few more nail mails coming in that's waiting for my review, but before I do that let me share one more mani using Hit the Bottle stamping polishes.

Thumb, middle finger & ring finger: Base is Picture Polish darcy, and I applied Simply Peel by Bliss Kiss around my cuticles for easy cleanup. I placed 4 or 5 drops of Hit the Bottle polishes ('I wish I was a Mermaid', 'Blue-tiful', 'Paint the Town Violet', and 'Poison Apple') randomly on swirly pattern on DRK XL Designer 1 plate, scraped just once and stamped on those nails. I peeled off Simply Peel, then I made a decal using butterfly pattern on the same plate and Hit the Bottle 'To Have an to Gold', coloured in with the same HTB polishes above and placed them on those nails. Finished off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.

Pointer & pinkie: Same process except that I didn't place butterfly decals.

I can't tell you how much I love the result! Pity the day I took the photos was pretty cloudy. The first time I saw this mani in the sun, I thought 'Oh wow, this looks like oil slick!', hence the name. I used this stamping technique long time ago for this mani, but the blend of these metallic polishes give such a mesmerising look.

As I mentioned in my Hit the Bottle review post, these polishes dry rather fast, so you might want to plan beforehand exactly what part of the design you want it on your nails. If you pick up unwanted parts on your stamper, you don't have time to remove it with your finger or sticky tape before stamping on your nails. Nothing difficult once you get used to it. I always plan and scrape to the direction where I don't pick up unwanted image anyway. I just don't want my fellow stampers to feel hesitant about getting these HTB polishes just because they dry fast, because I absolutely love them!

レビュー案件があと２件ほど控えているのですが、ちょっと一呼吸おいてHit the Bottleスタンピングポリッシュを使ったネイルをもう１つ作ってみました。出来上がりはこちら。

親指、中指、薬指 : ベースはPicture Polish darcy。事前にキューティクル周辺にBliss KissのSimply Peelを塗っておく（あとでクリーンアップを楽にするため）。Hit the Bottleの各ポリッシュ ('I wish I was a Mermaid'、'Blue-tiful'、'Paint the Town Violet'、'Poison Apple')をDRK XL Designer 1 プレートの渦巻き模様に4－5滴ほどランダムに垂らし、１回だけスクレイプしてこの３本の爪にスタンプ。Simply Peelを剥がしたら、今度は同じプレートのチョウチョ柄をHit the Bottle 'To Have an to Gold'でスタンプ。上記のHTBポリッシュで色付けしてdecal化し、爪に乗せる。仕上げはGlisten & Glow HK Girlトップコート。

人差し指と小指: チョウチョdecalを乗せなかっただけでプロセスは同じ。

This is the first time in a long time I used DRK plate. I only have 2 of their plates,
but I really adore them. This swirl pattern was just perfect for this oil slick look

このネイル、個人的にものすごく気に入りました。ちょうど写真を撮った時は曇りだったので写りはイマイチですが、太陽光下で初めて見た瞬間、「わぁ～oil slickみたい！」と思いました。oil slickというのは水面や道路に浮いた油の色が混ざり合って虹みたいになっているアレです（Googleの画像検索はこちら）。なので、ネイルの名前もOil Slick Butterflyとしてみました。この「複数のポリッシュを垂らしてスクレイプ」する手法、以前１回やっていますが、メタリックだとまた混ざり具合が格別ですね(ﾟ∀ﾟ) ベースのPicture Polishの黒ホロのキラキラとメタリックなスタンプが相まって、この日は爪を何度も見てはその輝く様子に見とれていました。

DRKのプレートを使うのは本当に久しぶりです。新しく入手したプレートにどうしても目が行きがちになるのですが、以前から持っているプレートもどんどん活用していかねば。

ところで今回使ったHit the Bottleスタンピングポリッシュ、レビューにも書いたようにかなり乾きが早いです。なので、柄をピックアップしてから迷わないように事前に柄のどの部分を使うかよく計画しておくのが吉です。特に今回使ったような一続き柄のプレートを使う場合、どんな感じでポリッシュを垂らし、どの方向にスクレイプすれば不要な柄をピックアップしなくて済むかをよく考えます。不要な柄をピックアップしてしまった場合、爪に転写する前に指やセロテープで取り除いている暇はありません。私は乾きの遅いMundoでも上記のことを念頭に置いて作業しているのでほとんど気にならないのですが、スタンパーさんたちの中にはHit the Bottleの乾きの早さがネックになって購入をためらっている方もいらっしゃるようで。非常にいいポリッシュなのに多くの人に使ってもらえないのは残念。工夫と使い方次第で克服できるよ、ということを声を大にして伝えたいです。

Looking at the beautiful stamping polishes from Hit the Bottle, I felt like going punk for some reason. I have been wanting to do a pink punk mani for quite a while, but ended up with using more than just pink.

I started off with just base coat, placed a piece of masking tape vertically on each nail, painted about 3/4 of my nails with black, and peeled off the tape immediately. I applied 'Protect 'n Peel' liquid latex also from Hit the Bottle on my cuticle and the bare part of my nails, and let dry. Then using Hit the Bottle Blue-tiful (blue), Magenta at your own Risk (pink), Hello Buttercup (yellow), and Absinthe Minded (green), I stamped skull pattern from MoYou London Biker 08 plate. I peeled off liquid latex, then placed another piece of masking tape diagonally, and painted silver near the tip. I added black triangle studs and finished off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat, then decided to mattify with Hit the Bottle Satin Finish topcoat.

I feel really naughty wearing this mani! I'm so impressed with how vibrant those stamping polishes look on black. I can't possibly pick a favourite finger. In my previous post, I wrote that these stamping polishes can't be peeled off with tapes. That means you can't easily remove mis-stamp with tape without ruining the base, but also means that tape won't accidentally remove it either. I usually have to topcoat over the stamp before placing masking tapes or striping tapes, but I didn't have to for this mani. I really love these polishes, and I know I will be using lots!

Hit the Bottleスタンピングポリッシュを使ってどんなネイルをやろうかな～と思ってまず頭に浮かんだテーマが「パンク」でした。特にピンクを使ったパンクネイルをずっとやりたかったので、いっちょ作ってみました。出来上がりはこちら。

ベースコートだけ塗った状態で開始。マスキングテープを各爪に垂直に置き、爪の3/4程度を黒で塗ってテープを素早く剥がす。キューティクルと素爪の上に'Protect 'n Peel'リキッドラテックスを塗って乾かす。次に、MoYou London Biker 08プレートのスカル柄をHit the Bottle Blue-tiful (青)、Magenta at your own Risk (ピンク)、Hello Buttercup (黄色)、Absinthe Minded (緑)でスタンプしてリキッドラテックスを剥がす。マスキングテープを斜めに置いてシルバーを爪先付近に塗り、黒の三角スタッズを置く。仕上げはGlisten & Glow HK Girlトップコートを塗り、後からHit the Bottle Satin Finishトップコートでマット化。

I really start to like the use of liquid latex. It has so much fun uses!

今回はリキッドラテックスを使って何か面白いことできないかな？と思ってやった実験的ネイルでもあります。素爪部分とキューティクルにラテックスを塗ってからスタンプして剥がすことで、黒の部分だけにスタンプ出来るだけではなくクリーンアップも楽になりました。これはハマりそう(ﾟ∀ﾟ)

「ピンク・パンク」をやりたくて始めたネイルですが、結局４色使いました（親指は青）。どれもい色ですね～。はっきりした発色が好き過ぎる。ちなみに1つ前のHit the Bottleのレビューポストでも書きましたが、Mundoのような「スタンプをミスしたときのテープ剥がし」はこのポリッシュたちではできません。しかし裏を返せば、誤ってテープで剥がれることがないということでもあります。シルバーを塗る前にマスキングテープを置いていますが、このときにトップコートはしていません。しなくてもマステでスタンプが剥がれることがないから。Hit the Bottle、ズブズブとハマって全色集めてしまいそうで怖い。
