I usually feel like doing some kimono inspired manis around new year's day (the reason behind this is explained on this post), but this year I'm totally uninspired and can't think of any designs. So I went and look for new year mani inspirations, and somehow came across a beautiful Chinese lantern picture. I'll show you the pic later, but today's mani was inspired by it.

Middle finger & ring finger: I started off with JOSS Will Not (white) and stamped a floral pattern from Bundle Monster BM-XL151 using Mundo de Uñas Gold. I topcoated, then placed a piece of masking tape near the tip and painted black. Then I made a stamping decal out of lantern images on the same plate using MdU Black, coloured in with JOSS Chrissie's Brass and placed on those nails. Finished off with G & G HK Girl topcoat.

Thumb, pointer & pinkie: Base is JOSS Chrissie's Brass. I placed masking tape near cuticle and painted black over it.

I don't like the photo quality and it's quite a simple look (to my standard anyway) but I'm overwhelmed by the reaction I got on Instagram. Wow, Asian themed manis are popular, eh? But yes, it turned out quite nice although it's not perfectly true to the original inspo pic.

新年を迎えたこの時期って和ネイルをやりたい気分が盛り上がってくるはずなんですが、今年はな～んも浮かんでこないですね。なので仕方なくグーグル先生に頼って新年ネイルに使えそうな画像を検索している中で見つかった１枚。今回はその画像を参考にしたネイルです。出来上がりはこちら。

中指と薬指 : ベースはJOSS Will Not（白）。その上にBundle Monster BM-XL151の花柄をMundo de Uñas Goldでスタンプ。一度トップコートしてから爪先付近にマスキングテープを置き、上から黒を塗る。同じプレートの提灯柄をMdU Blackでスタンプし、JOSS Chrissie's Brassで色付けしてdecalを作成。爪に配置したらG & G HK Girlトップコートで仕上げ。

親指、人差し指、小指 : ベースはJOSS Chrissie's Brass。キューティクル付近にマスキングテープを置いて上から黒を塗る。

ちなみにこちらが参考画像。ソースはこちら。ニューイヤー関連の画像検索になぜこれが出てきたのかは謎ですが（もしかして旧正月？）、白黒金というシンプルな構成がとても気に入りました。この色構成をそのまま採用してもよかったのですが、ネイルでは定番の赤を追加してみました。和ネイルどころか中華風な仕上がりになりましたが、一ミリたりとも後悔なし。

このBundle MonsterのAround the Worldスタンピングセットは4-5か月前に購入したものですが、今回初使用です。なかなかいい柄が揃ってますね。特にこの中華プレートは細かい柄がたくさんあって使い甲斐がありそうです。

I love the glows on this red metallic polish. It gives exotic feel to the whole look

白にゴールドスタンプって爽やかで好きです。しかし光が当たってゴールドスタンプが見えづらくなってしまい、写真撮るのが大変だった、このネイルorz 50枚ぐらい撮影した中から奇跡の1枚を選んでもこんなもんか～と思いつつアップしたんですが、インスタでは結構反響あってびっくり。和ネイル・中華ネイルって本当に人気あるのねぇ。

FLASH NEWS. Our chickens finally lay the very first egg! :D Oh boy, you should all see my excitement when I found the egg lying in the cage. I even rang my husband at work just to be told that he couldn't talk because he was at a meeting. LOL! This happened Friday last week and today we've got another one! WooHoo! At the same time, I saw a shocking thing. It happened so quickly but I think one hen just laid an egg in front of me and in a matter of seconds, all the chickens started pecking on it and ate it all... even shells. I couldn't believe my eyes and by the time I called out to my husband (today is national holiday so he was at home), the whole egg was gone. Looks like two hens laid one egg each just today, and one was sitting there safe (which we took out) but the other one they decided to eat. How did that happen?? We fried the egg that we took out on Friday and it was so yummy. We noticed that the shell was quite hard compared to store-bought eggs, so maybe they couldn't peck on it? Don't know.

Anyway, onto today's mani. Today's mani was inspired by a polish name. The polish I used is Picture Polish 'eerie'. Now, 'eerie' is not the word I use often in real life, but the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this name was 'eerie forest'. I had my eyes on the cute animal silhouette stamps on Bundle Monster Secret Garden collection, and decided to use them.

For this mani, I started off with Picture Polish eerie, and painted Sinful Shine Steel Reserve near free edge on middle & ring finger. I stamped a leaf pattern from Bundle Monster BM-702 plate using Mundo de Uñas Spring Green three or four times near free edge, to represent grass. Then I stamped vine pattern from the same plate using my dear friend Coppi's franken 'Coral' on the top half of those nails. Finally I made a decal out of Bambi stamp (same plate) and Thumper stamp (BM-724) and placed on middle & ring fingers respectively. For other nails, I made butterfly decals out of BM-718.

OK, where's eerie forest?? It looked more like a fairy forest than eerie. LOL! I still like the look though. I haven't done this type of cuteish manis for a long time, and my friends on Instagram seemed to be surprised about how different it is to my normal manis. I really adore this and will be doing more of this type of manis. The only frustrating thing was that I had difficulty transferring images from the butterfly plate (BM-718), and I could only get 1 good stamp out of 5 tries. Such a pity coz it's a pretty plate.

冒頭からカシス家の大ニュースをまず１つ。うちのニワトリがようやく初の卵を生んだ～！！＼(^o^)／＼(^o^)／最近は朝外に出るのは寒いので、暖かくなってきた昼頃にニワトリを見に行くのですが、ケージの中にコロンと転がった丸い物体を発見したときの興奮ったらもう(ﾟ∀ﾟ) すぐに旦那殿に電話をしたら、「打ち合わせ中なのでちょっと今は話せないよ」と一蹴されましたがｗｗそれが金曜日の出来事で、今日もまた１つ生まれていたので回収しました。と同時に、１つショッキングな出来事も。ニワトリ小屋に近づいていくと、いつも私の到着を待ち遠しく待っている子たちが何やら今日は円陣を組んで慌ただしく動き回っている。と、たった今生み落されたと思われる卵をみんなで突き始めてあっという間に食べてしまった・・・。一瞬の出来事で呆気にとられてしまいましたが、旦那殿を呼んで小屋に見に来てもらったときにはもう殻もすっかりなくなっていました。つまり、雌鶏２匹がそれぞれ今日１個ずつ生んで、１つは無事だったけどもう１つは食べてしまったということのよう。何で何で？なんで食べちゃうかなぁ？？金曜日に回収した卵は美味しく目玉焼きにしていただきましたが、市販の卵より殻が硬かったです。だから無事だったのかな？

そんな大ニュース（笑）をお届けしたところで今日のネイル。今日はポリッシュの名前をテーマにしたネイルです。使用したポリッシュはPicture Polish 'eerie'。eerie（「イーリー」と読む）の意味、ご存知でしょうか？「恐ろしげな」とか「奇妙な」とかそんな意味です。あまり日常生活で使う用語ではないですが、eerieと聞いたときに真っ先に思い浮かんだのが「eerie forest」（恐ろしげな森）。ちょうど森ネイルによさそうな動物のシルエットスタンプがBundle MonsterのSecret Gardenコレクションにあったので、１つ作ってみました。出来上がりはこちら。

ベースはPicture Polish eerie。中指と薬指のフリーエッジ付近にSinful Shine Steel Reserveを塗り、Bundle Monster BM-702プレートの葉っぱ模様をMundo de Uñas Spring Greenで３，４回スタンプ。次に同じプレートの蔦柄を大好きなこっぴさんからいただいたフランケン'Coral'でこの２本の爪の上半分にスタンプ。最後にバンビ（同じプレート）ととんすけ（BM-724）のdecalを作成し、それぞれ中指と薬指に配置。他の爪にはBM-718のチョウチョのdecalを配置。

このeerie、ホロだけかと思ったらシマーも入っていました。この日は曇りだったのであまりいいショットが撮れず残念。

I have to admit that I didn't know the Disney rabbit was called Thumper (I knew Bambi though).
I intended it to be a normal forest animal mani, but looks like it reminded most people of Disney character mani

ええっと・・・eerie感は一体どこに？(ﾟ∀ﾟ;) eerieというより可愛い感じに仕上がってしまいました。動物スタンプを白にしたのが原因ですかね。あと、単に鹿とうさぎのスタンプというより、ディズニーの「バンビととんすけ」と捉えた方たちがほとんどだったみたいです。「とんすけ」（英語だとThumper）って名前も全然知りませんでしたがｗ

There are lots of cute stamps on Bundle Monster Secret Garden, and I can't wait to use it again.
Maybe not the troublesome butterfly plate though!

インスタのコメントでも案の定「キュート」「可愛い」「cute」のオンパレードでしたｗありがとうございます。また機会があったら恐ろしげな雰囲気のネイルにチャレンジします。あと、私のいつものネイルとは違うテイストなので驚かれた方も多かったようですね。

Bundle MonsterのこのSecret Gardenプレートなのですが、とても可愛らしい柄が多いです。が！このチョウチョプレート（BM-718）がなっかなかうまくスタンプしてくれなくて苦労しました・・。こっぴさんからいただいた貴重なCoralを何度か無駄にしてしまいイライラ(｡-_-｡) 同じプレートをこのネイルでも使っているのですが、そこでもうまく転写されなかったので彫りの問題なんでしょう。可愛いプレートなのにすごい残念。

June 3rd was my IG friend Tracy @scarletohara65's birthday, and Debbie @ladyandthe_stamp secretly contacted a bunch of us nail artists to do a birthday mani for her. I got to know Tracy about a year ago and she's not only a talented nail artist, but also one of the sweetest ladies I know on IG. The theme was 'Red' as it is her favourite colour, and I couldn't think of using any appropriate polish for this occasion other than Picture Polish o'hara. She told me long time ago that she absolutely loved this polish and recommended to me, and I remember it the whole time. That's why I decided to place my first order at Picture Polish to get this polish, and luckily the order arrived in time to do this mani.

For this mani, I started off with JOSS Will Not (white) for thumb, middle finger, and ring finger. I then placed 2 sets of striping tapes vertically on my nails, painted Picture Polish o'hara (red holo) and darcy (black holo) over them, and peeled them off immediately. Once that's dry, I stamped a swirly pattern from Bundle Monster BM-718 using Mundo de Uñas White, and added a silver rhinestone. I finished off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat. For pointer and pinkie, I simply painted o'hara topped with rhinestones.

It's such a simple stamping mani but I love the contrast with red and black. Picture Polish o'hara is a true stunner, and I'm so happy Tracy recommended this polish to me! The compliment I received from her made me smile :DD

6/3はインスタのお友達Tracy @scarletohara65の誕生日でした。Tracyの親友のDebbie @ladyandthe_stamp が２週間ぐらい前に私を含む共通の友達に声を掛けてくれて、彼女のためにネイルを作成しようということに。Tracyとは１年前ぐらいにインスタで知り合って以来、頻繁にやり取りさせていただいています。バースデーネイルのテーマは彼女の大好きな色「赤」。実はかなり前にTracyと話をしたときに、「Picture Polishのo'haraが本当に好きで」ということを聞いていて、いつかo'haraを買いたいな～とずっと思っていたのですが、今回の話をいただきいい機会なのでPPで初オーダーしようということに。出来上がりがこちら。

ちなみにこれがバースデーコラージュ。２１人ものネイルアーティストが参加しました。圧巻ですね(ﾟ∀ﾟ)

３色使っただけの簡単なネイルですが、やっぱりこのo'hara、とても映えますね。光が当たるとホロ粒子がチラチラ輝いて何とも言えず美麗。

I had a bit of a trouble with this BM plate, and some parts didn't transfer very well.
I used one of the detail brushes Minnie sent me to touch up. It would have been
impossible without that detail brush!

ボトルを真っ直ぐ持つ「Picture Polish持ち」にも挑戦ｗこのショット、商品ページにいかがですか？PPさん（笑。ちなみにこのBundle Monsterのプレート、きちんと柄が転写されなくてちょっと苦労しました。かなり欠けた部分が出てきてしまったので、Minnieが贈ってくださった極細ブラシを使ってちょいちょい描き足しています。線の細いスタンプなので、あのぐらい細いブラシでないとムリでしたね。Minnie、改めて素敵なブラシをありがとう(；▽；)

そんなこんなのTracyのバースデーネイルでした。本人にも喜んでいただけて何よりです♪( ´▽｀)

Another haul post for you, and although I've got lots of photos to show you, I'd like to keep it simple without going too much into details. So much to do and not enough time!

I bought few things from Bundle Monster when they had Mother's Day special, and received the order the other day. This is how the order went:

今日も買い物記事です。今回は点数が多いので、写真はたくさん撮りましたがレビューというより買ったものをささっと紹介するだけに留めたいと思います。

今回はBundle Monster haulです。母の日セールをやっていたときにオーダーしました。到着まではこんな感じ。

I bought quite a few this time. 2 stamping plate sets (Sun Kissed & Secret Garden), 2 XL plates, XL plate organiser, nail vinyl set, and 2 pearl nail studs wheels.

BMでの買い物は３回目ですが、今回は久々なのでかなり大量に買いました。スタンピングプレートセットが２つ（Sun KissedとSecret Garden）、XLプレート２枚、XLプレートケース、ネイルテープ、パールスタッズのウィール２個。

This is XL plate organiser. It will fit 48 XL stamping plates, about the size of MoYou London and Dashica Infinity plates.

まずはXLプレートケース。MoYou LondonやDashica Infinityなどのサイズのプレートが48枚収納可。

I recommend reading Tamira @Lacquer Lockdown's blog post about this plate organiser review. In her YouTube video, she shows which brand plate fits nicely and which one doesn't. Like she said, my Born Pretty rectangle plates only just fit in this organiser, but MYL, Dashica Infinity, and of course Bundle Monster XL plates fit perfectly.

このアイテムに関してはTamira @Lacquer Lockdownのこちらのポストが大変参考になります。YouTubeの動画の方でも、どのブランドのプレートがフィットするかデモしてくれています。彼女も言っているように、Born Prettyの長方形プレートはかなりキツキツですが、MoYou、Dashica Infinity、Bundle Monster XLプレートなどはいい感じにフィットします。

Pearl wheels and nail vinyls. I got request from one of my YouTube subscribers to do a wedding mani that her daughter can wear on her wedding. I created a prototype and showed her, and she replied her daughter preferred the use of pearls instead of silver beads, so I went on a hunt for pearl studs. Luckily Bundle Monster sells it so I got 2. The nail vinyls set on the right has 7 different shapes like circle, thunder bolt, triangles, etc.

パールのウィールとネイルテープ。かなり前にYouTubeの視聴者から娘さんが９月に結婚するので、ブライダルネイルをデザインしてくれないかという問い合わせをいただきました。１つサンプルを作って見せたところ、娘さんはシルバーのビーズではなくパールがお好みということで、小さいパールを売っているお店をずっと探していました。ちょうどBundle Monsterで売っていたので２つ購入。そのお隣のネイルテープは丸や雷形や三角やら、７種類の形のテープのセット。

Next, stamping plates. This is the first half of Sun Kissed collection, BM-501 to BM 505.

お次はプレート。これはSun Kissedコレクションの半分。BM-501からBM-505。

Next half of Sun Kissed, BM-506 to BM-510. Full size images on some of the plates are only 1.7cm x 1.4cm, meaning they are way too small for my long nails. I'll only be using smaller individual images and some full-sized ones. You can't beat the price though, as it was only $8.5 (sale price) for a set of 10 plates.

Sun Kissed残り半分、BM-506からBM-510。フルサイズの柄は1.7cm x 1.4cmなので私の爪にはかなり小さいです。なので、個別柄と一部のフルサイズ柄しか使わないと思いますが、10枚で$8.5（セール価格）ってのは爆安ですね。

And then, Secret Garden collection. Only cost me $17.43 (sale price) for a set of 25 plates. It's the buffet type plate set that has become so popular in stamping world. This set is not only full of floral images, but also some cute animal/birds images scattered everywhere.

お次がSecret Gardenコレクション。25枚セットで$17.43（セール価格）でした。今人気のバフェットタイプ（一続き柄）のセットです。花柄だけでなく可愛らしい動物や鳥がそこかしこに散りばめられた楽しいセット。

I bought XL plates as well. This is BM-XL02 full of geometrics and XL07 full of more flowers.

最後にXLプレート２枚。幾何学模様がいっぱいのBM-XL02とお花いっぱいのXL07。

I did test stamp as usual, but not thoroughly. Only did those images that I will probably be using. This is from Sun Kissed.

いつもどおりテストスタンプもしましたが、全部ではありません。使わない柄は除いて、今後使うかもしれないものだけやりました。これはSun Kissedより。

Another one from Sun Kissed. Out of all my plates I bought this time, flamingo in the middle is the only image that has an etching problem, but I don't think I'd bother asking for replacement. Bundle Monster has a return policy where if you have problems with your purchase you can contact them in 30 days of placing an order, then you'll get a replacement or refund. Such being the case, I recommend doing test stamp as soon as you receive your order.

こちらもSun Kissedより。今回購入したプレートで彫りの問題があったのは中央のフラミンゴの柄１点のみでした。Bundle Monsterは購入品に問題があった場合、注文後３０日以内であれば交換や返金に応じてくれるので、注文品が届いたらすぐにswatchすることをお勧めします。今回はこの１点だけなので交換の連絡はしないと思います。

These 2 are from Secret Garden. I did have trouble with some of the images, but I carefully scraped for the second try, and all came out nicely.

この２枚はSecret Gardenより。いくつかきちんとスタンプしていない柄があるのですが、スクレイプに気を付けて再度やってみたところ、どれも問題なくスタンプしました。

Lastly, 2 XL plates. Not a single problem at all.

最後にXLプレート２枚。彫りの問題はまったくなく綺麗にスタンプしました。

This is my third time purchasing from Bundle Monster, but I'm so happy with my purchase. They not only sells good variety of stamping plates, but other nail art accessories as well. And the best part is, they are so reasonably priced. I did have some quality problems with their plates with my previous purchase, but I'm so impressed with what I got. Can't wait to use these goodies!

Bundle Monsterでの買い物は今回３回目でしたが、買ったものには非常に満足しています。BMはプレートだけでなくネイルアートグッズもたくさん売っていること、何より値段が本当に安いですね。以前プレートを買ったときは彫りの問題があってガッカリしたのですが、今回の購入品はかなり良好でした。今後少しずつ使っていきます。

I have three manis I created about a month ago that I haven't posted yet. MoYou London announced about the rainbow contest around that time so I put off posting them in case I could use them for possible contest entries. How cheeky! lol

31DC2014 challenge started straight after the contest, so I tried finding a theme that matched those unposted manis.

Here is one of them. This is for Day 16 of 31DC2014 challenge, Geometric. I can't recall what I was thinking when I created this mani, but I think I just wanted to try matte x gloss.

I started off with Sally Hansen Silk Onyx and stamped an asymmetric pattern from MoYou London Artist 03 with Mundo de Uñas Black. For ring finger, I also added a lip stamp from Bundle Monster BM02 with Mundo de Uñas Reddish. That's it! Super easy. To keep the matte & gloss, I didn't apply any top coat so this mani unfortunately didn't stay very long.

１か月ほど前に作ってまだ記事にしていないネイルが３点ほどあります。ちょうどその頃はMoYou LondonがRainbowコンテストやるよ～とアナウンスした頃で、もしかしてエントリー作品に使えるかも？と思って少し先延ばしにしていたのです（笑。結局どれも使えなかったので現在進行中の31DC2014チャレンジの方で合うテーマはないかな？ということで今回のネイルがDay 16 Geometrics（幾何学模様）のテーマに合致しました。出来上がりはこちら。

makes an interesting contrast with glossy black

このSally Hansenの黒サテン、非常に重宝しています。ベースに黒を使いたいとき、ストレートな黒じゃつまらないな～ってときにこれに手が伸びます。今回はマットｘ艶のコントラストを楽しむネイルにしたのでトップコートなしです。

These asymmetric designs are great. See the pattern is skewed on the pointer?
But it doesn't look obvious because of the asymmetry!

こういう左右非対称柄って大好きです。人差し指をよく見ると柄が非常に歪んでるんですが、左右非対称なのでほとんど目立たないという(ﾟ∀ﾟ) これが左右対称柄だったら・・・ﾁｰﾝ

今回のネイルはトップコートなしなのであまり長持ちしませんでした。Konad黒からMundoに切り替えて気づいたことは、Mundoは剥がれやすいということですかね。Konad黒を使用していた頃は引きずりを恐れてトップコートを塗らないで過ごすこともあったのですが、MundoでそれをやるとNGです。Mundoはトップコートで引きずることがあまりないという利点はあります。スタンピング専用ポリッシュも本当に一長一短ありますね。

I think I'm pushing myself too much lately, writing up regular blog posts and taking tutorial videos for my manis to post on Instagram and YouTube. I really need to slow down. I still wanted to post this today though, because this is a mani I created for Day 11 of #nailartaug 'Tropical' on Instagram. This is also fit for Day 10 of #randomnailartaug 'Line Art' by accident. Killing two birds with one stone, haha!

For today's mani, I started off with Sinful Colors Snow Me White, then using various Mundo de Uñas polishes and MoYou London Pro 01 XL plate, I did a colourful stripe as a backgrond. Then I stamped a tropical flower from Bundle Monster BM-318. Again, I have an Instagram video to show you how.

Such and easy and quick mani, but I really like the colours I used. It certainly brightened me up in this freezing weather!

精力的にブログ更新中(｀・ω・´) 前みたいに３－４日に１回更新ペースに戻りたいのですが、このネイルは「時期モノ」なので今日アップしときます。インスタグラムでのネイルアートチャレンジ #nailartaug のDay 11のお題「トロピカル」のために作ったネイルです。また偶然別のチャレンジ #randomnailartaug のDay 10のお題「ラインアート」にも合致したので一石二鳥(ﾟ∀ﾟ) 出来上がりはこちら。

ベースはSinful Colors Snow Me White。Mundo de Uñasを５色使ってMoYou London Pro 01 XLのストライプ柄をスタンプ、その後Bundle Monster BM-318のトロピカルなお花をスタンプ。使用ポリッシュはこちら。

背景は几帳面な人はテープでやった方が綺麗に仕上がると思います。これはスタンプなので歪みまくってます。でもたまにはこういう数分でできるやつもいいよね。私のこのネイルのチュートリアル動画をインスタで見た人が「手順が面倒」とかコメント残してましたが、このぐらい簡単なら文句あるめえよ。

小指はChina Glaze Heli-Yum、ほとんど見えてない親指はSally Hansen Blue Me Awayコンビ再び。この２本好きだな～。パッと爪が明るく見えてテンション上がる(ﾟ∀ﾟ)

というわけで簡単トロピカルネイルでした。そして最後にまたインスタ動画をどうぞ。

I'm back from Kangaroo Island! We had so much fun being among nature and wild animals. I had a bit of a neck sore from trying to spot wild Koalas up on the trees but well worth it :) I will probably write a blog post about this trip later.

Today I'm showing you a nail stamping I did before the trip. I started off with my one coat black franken and stamped wire pattern from Bundle Monster BM-323 using Mundo de Uñas stamping polish, 17 Gold. I then added roses from BuNa-A using Mundo 32 Reddish, and leaves using 8 Green.

I love this mani so much - the black base with gold and red really pops! I'm so happy with Mundos, they stamp so perfectly. I also included a test stamp of stamping red over green per reader request.

カンガルー島から帰還しました＼(^o^)／自然いっぱい、野生動物いっぱいのところでゆっくり羽を伸ばしてきました。野生のコアラにも会えたし大満足！そのうち記事にしようと思います(ﾟ∀ﾟ)

さて、今日のネイルは旅行前にしていたものです。Mundo de Uñasが届いたのでさっそく使ってみたの巻。出来上がりはこちら。

ベースはone coatブラックフランケン、その上にBundle MonsterのBM-323のワイヤー柄をMundo de Uñasの#17 Goldでスタンプ。その上にBuNa-Aの薔薇を同じくMundoの#32 Reddishでスタンプしてから葉っぱを#8 Greenで書き足しています。この写真だけトップコートなし、後の写真はセシェ仕上げ。

Don't you just love the wire and rose combination?

色の組み合わせが和風っぽいですね(ﾟ∀ﾟ;) 着物に合いそう？それにしてもMundoの威力は凄いですよ。ベースの黒に負けない金と赤の存在感・・・。こういうコントラストがはっきりしたネイル、好きです。

ちなみに「スキホウダイ」のシイキさんからリクエストいただいた「緑の上から赤スタンプでどうなるか」をテストしてみました。まずは白ベース。
