Any Internet Explorer browser readers out there? I was pointed out that my posts look distorted when they have Instagram videos at the end. I'm looking into it but still have no clue as to how to fix it. As far as I know, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari users shouldn't be affected, so I recommend using those browsers (if you have them installed) until I find a solution. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Onto today's nails. It's middle of the spring here in OZ but it's already like summer where I live. You know what that means? Perfect season for holos!

I don't know why but I felt like wearing bright red holo; the only problem is that I don't have any red holos in my stash. No problem, I can franken myself.

It was a long time ago when I frankened a holographic polish. The last holo franken was 'Aizumi' you can see on this post. If you're interested in where I got my franken supplies and what I got, you might wanna read this post (sorry only minimal English back then).

For Aizumi, I used a blue shimmer polish (Sinful Color Midnight Blue) to colour it blue, but this time I use Adirondack alcohol ink for the tint. For this franken, I filled about 1/3 of the bottle with SpectraFlair liquid and another 1/3 of the bottle with suspension base. I then added 10 drops of Adirondack 'Watermelon', swatched on paper to see colour intensity, did the same for 20 drops/30 drops/40 drops, and ended up adding 50 drops all up.

I wanted a very red holo like blood, but this one turned more like a pinkish cherry red. I realised afterwards that Adirondack 'Watermelon' has some pinkish tint to it. Still it's a pretty colour and I'm happy with the result. I enjoyed wearing it so much and did a quick rose stamp using BuNa-A plate. I really adore this look!

冒頭から２つほどお知らせを。先日シイキさんから「インスタ動画付きのポストをIEで見るとレイアウトが崩れている」とご指摘いただき、現在調査中です。Bloggerのテンプレートの方は怪しいところが見当たらず、インスタのコードの方かなと思っているのですが、まったく解決の目途が立っていません。私の読者のIEユーザーは9％ほどいらっしゃるようで、ご不便をお掛けして申し訳ありません。Chrome、Firefox、Safariユーザーの皆さんは影響ないと思います。

それからもう１つ。Twitterなんですが、私はMoYouの木曜のトリビアに参加するぐらいしか使っていないので、フォローしていただいてもトリビアの回答が流れてくるだけで何の益もないと思います^_^; とても申し訳ない気分になるので、アンフォローしてくださって全然構いませんので（笑。というか、トリビア参加している方いらっしゃいますか？私は最近全然当たりませんが、数か月前に一緒にやろうと誘ったJaeさんはもう３回当たっています（爆。

前振りが長くなりましたが今日のネイル。10月後半になって一気に気温が上がり、既に30度超えのギンギラ陽気の日も出てきました。そうするとムクムク沸き上がる「ホロを塗りたい！」という気持ち。しかも鮮血のような赤が塗りたい → でも持ってない → じゃあ作ろ！ということで、久々にフランケン。出来上がりはこちら。

鮮血というよりピンク寄りになってしまいましたが^_^; これで２度塗り、トップコートなし。屋外で撮影。

What I used for this franken. Suspension base, SpectraFlair 2% in liquid form,
and Adirondack Watermelon

フランケンに使った材料は上の画像にあるとおり。左からsuspension base、リキッドタイプのSpectraFlair、それからAdirondack Watermelon。作り方はsuspension baseを空ボトル1/3ほど注ぎ、SpectraFlairをさらに1/3注ぐ。Adirondack Watermelonを10滴追加してよく振り、紙にSwatch、好きな濃さになるまで最終的に50滴ほど追加。

前回のホロフランケン「藍墨」は青のシマーのポリッシュを使って色付けしたんですが、今回はアルコールインクという色付けに打ってつけの材料があるのでこれを利用しない手はありませんね(ﾟ∀ﾟ) 鮮血のような赤にしたかったのですが、このAdirondack Watermelon自体少しピンク寄りの赤だったのは後で気づきました。

このフランケンの名前、「桜桃」（おうとう）にしました。いわゆるさくらんぼですね。トップコート塗らずに翌日撮影しましたが、剥げたりボコったりすることもありませんでした。

最終的にこうなりました。BuNa-Aプレートから薔薇をMundo黒でスタンプ。Seche Viteでフィニッシュ。

というわけで、久々のフランケン非常に楽しかったです＼(^o^)／ホロ特有の塗りにくさはなく、２度塗りで乾きも早く持ちもいいです。オージーインディーズのほとんどがここのお店のフランケン材料を使っているそうですが、Picture PolishやらEmily de Mollyが絶賛されている理由が分かる気がしますね。今度は白のTinterを買ってクリーム作りにも挑戦しようかな。

I'm showing you 'Travel to Neptune' franken today. TKB's description says this pigment 'shifts from turquoise to blue to violet'. All my other 'Travel to' frankens are simply a mixture of suspension base plus 2 tiny scoops of Travel to pigment, but this time I added some black polishes too see how it goes. The swatch is one coat over one-coat black I made previously.

Unfortunately, I can't see the colour shift on this franken very well. It could be because I mixed with some black polishes in an effort to be able to use on its own, rather than layering over black. The blue colour is pretty and striking none the less.

After I took some photos on it's own, I made a galaxy mani out of it. When I feel uninspired, galaxy mani is good because it's easy to create and yet effective.

This concludes my Travel-to franken series. My first post was back in March. Geez, it took that long!?

Neptuneは海王星です。出来上がりはこちら。

One thick coat over one-coat black, with Revlon top coat

one coatブラックを１度塗り、その上にフランケンを１度塗り。トップコートあり（Revlon）、室内撮り。ピグメントとボトルショットはこちら。

作り方はこれだけ今までとは少し変えました。Suspension baseをボトル半分注ぎ、ピグメントをお手製ストローの先っちょに乗せて２杯投入してから黒のポリッシュを適量追加（分量失念）。カラーシフトはこんな感じ。

TKBの説明では「ターコイス～青～バイオレット」だそうですが・・・。ぬぬ？？青がメインでバイオレットがちょこっと見えるぐらいですかね。作り方失敗したかな(；▽；)

マクロショット。写真を撮ったのが夕方近かったのでキラキラシマーもあまり見えず残念。

単色で一通り写真を撮った後、こんな感じに仕上げてみました。

Final product, galaxy mani!

久々の銀河ネイル。かな~り初期のころにやって以来でした。まず三角スポンジに白を取ってポンポンと乗せ、その上に黄色、コーラル、紫、オレンジ（少々）を乗せていき、最後にCiate Party Shoesをひと塗り。

手に持っているのがCiate Part Shoes。グリッタートッパーです。

銀河ネイルって適当に色を置いて行ってもそれなりに見えるのがいいですね。何も思いつかないときに最適。オレンジもうちょっと足したらもっと深みが出てよかったかな。

というわけでめでたくTravel toフランケンシリーズの全Swatch終了！＼(^o^)／ということはDance LegendのGalaxyシリーズ、ようやく解禁できます(ﾟ∀ﾟ) てか、このネイルしてたときに右手には既にGalaxy塗ってたんだけどねｗ

Another bestie twin nails today! This time with super talented Mae @nailartbymae. I only discovered her Instagram account recently but I'm so impressed with both her freehand and stamping skills!

She suggested I did the design first and she would recreate it. I did wave and flower stamping and Mae recreated it with all freehand.

I started off with Sinful Colors Snow Me White and stamped a wavy design from Pueen Encore SE04A and flower from my beloved Messy Mansion MM20 using Mundo de Uñas Black. Then I mixed clear glitter topper with homemade jellies I showed you in this post plus Nfu-oh JS033 (teal jelly), and leadlighted.

This design was something I wanted to try for a while, and it turned out pretty I think. I wanted to bling it up more but this was as far as it could get. Hummm, any suggestion?

さて、この前やったばかりのBestie Twin Nails、またやらせていただきました。今回のお相手はMae @nailartbymae さん。彼女は元々フリーハンドがお得意で、最近スタンピングも取り入れているとのこと。彼女のアカウントはチュートリアルもあるし超絶ためになります。最近フォローし始めたら彼女もフォローしてくださって、その日のうちにBestieやろうとお誘いが。いやいや、光栄ですね、本当に(；▽；)

デザインは私が考えていいとのことだったので考えたのがこちら。

I'm showing you 'Travel to Mercury' franken today. TKB's description says this pigment 'shifts from red-gold to bronze'. Again, this franken is simply a mixture of suspension base plus 2 tiny scoops of Travel to Mercury pigment. The swatch is two coats over one-coat black I made previously.

The colour shift isn't super unique, but I like that it shows pretty well without trying to capture it. There's only one more to go for this 'Travel to franken' series, then I can finally swatch my Dance Legend Galaxy collection. So excited!

最終形態がこちら。MoYou London Pro 06 XL再登板。このプレート、LeadlightもDecalもイケるし、なんて使い勝手がいいんでしょう(ﾟ∀ﾟ)。スタンピングポリッシュはMundo de Uñas Silver。Mundoの第２便も到着したのですがまだご紹介していません。そのうちそのうち・・・。

I'm showing you 'Travel to Pluto' franken today. TKB's description says this pigment 'shifts from silver-green to silver-red to green-gold'. Again, this franken is simply a mixture of suspension base plus 2 tiny scoops of Travel to Jupiter pigment. The swatch is one thick coat over one-coat black I made previously.

This one is so pretty but hard to photograph. Blue is prominent most of the times, but it's super camera shy. The colour shift is so dramatic in real life and I refused to add anything for a while. Just before it's due to be taken off, I finally added silver triangle french tip. So simple!

ちょっと最近身辺がバタバタしております。ネイル記事を書くのがやっとで、他のブログにもあまり遊びに行けてません。

Plutoは冥王星です。出来上がりはこちら。

TKBの説明では「シルバーグリーン～シルバーレッド～グリーンゴールド」へのシフトらしいですが、塗った感じはスチールブルーからシルバーパープルへのシフトって感じでしょうか。

屋外ショット。このフランケン、どの写真も正確に撮れていません。実際の目には基本色のスティールブルーがかなり強いんですが、レンズを通すとそれがまったく出てくれませんorz

このフランケン、実際には本当に綺麗で見てて飽きませんでした。どんなアートをしようかな～と考えているうちに時間が経ちすぎてしまったので簡単にシルバーを足しただけにしました。

そんなわけでTravel to Plutoフランケンのご紹介でした。残り２本も頑張ります(｀・ω・´)キリッ

I mentioned in this post that I will be getting some alcohol inks to make some jelly polishes. I ordered 7 Adirondack alcohol inks and bought some clear nail polishes. I simply added about 10 drops of inks into the clear and viola! My homemade jellies are born.

To try these babies, I chose rose patterns from MoYou London Tourist 07 XL. I started off with white base, then painted one think coat of Essence space queen (clear glitter topper) and stamped with Konad Black. For accent and middle fingers, I used all the jellies I made to colour the roses and leaves. I went too crazy with colouring so I left other nails simple by dabbing gold glitter on the petals.

I'm super impressed with my new jellies! I made them quite tinted but they are transparent enough to show the black lines underneath. For this leadlight technique, using the transparent jellies is important and I'm glad that I invested on those inks.

ちょっと前のこちらの記事で「Leadlightテクニックのためにアルコールインクでジェリー作るぞー」と宣言したかと思いますが、注文した７本のAdirondackが届いたのでさっそくクリアポリッシュを揃えて作ってみました。

7 Adirondacks

購入したのがこちら。紫、青、黄緑、オレンジ、黄色、赤、パステルピンクというラインアップ。大体１本３ドルぐらい。そして作ったジェリーがこちら。

用意したクリアーやトップコートをボトル半分ぐらいにして（残り半分は温存）、アルコールインクを１０滴ほど加えています。このW7のトップコート、もともと紫っぽい色が付いているので出来上がりが心配でしたが、何とか大丈夫そうでした。

残りの４本。こう見るとだいぶ色が似ていますが、左からオレンジ、黄色、赤、パステルピンクです。使ってみた感じパステルは要らなかったかな・・・。

そして爪に使ってみたのがこちら。

使用したのはMoYou London Tourist 07 XLの薔薇柄。ベースの白の上にEssence space queen (クリアグリッター)を一度塗り、その上にKonad黒でスタンプ。作ったジェリーをすべて使って中指と薬指を色付け。ちょっと色がうるさくなってしまったので、残りの指はTiNS Gear-top travellerをちょこっと乗せるだけにとどめました。
