Shopping Girl Mani Using FUN Plates

Last week was a bit crazy. My husband was away for a week on his business trip but on the way home, his car broke down in the middle of nowhere. I don't drive and that was the only car we had, so we quickly had to organise to buy a new car. It only took us one day to settle on a car we like, and we're now patiently waiting for it to arrive. I don't know much about a car, but it's Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk that's designed for off-road drive. Sounds perfect for us living in the 'Bush'.

Anyway, now that we did all the paper work for this car, I finally had time to paint my nails. I had to use my beautiful FUN plates again.

Middle finger & ring finger: I started off with Elcorazon Charm & Beauty No. 856. Then I made a stamping decal from a square geometric pattern on Fab Ur Nails FUN17 plate using Ya Qin An White, coloured in with fresh green, blue & pink, and placed on those nails. Then I made a decal from shopping girl images from FUN19 plate using Ya Qin An Navy and placed on those nails also. I finished off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.

Thumb, pointer & pinkie: Process is the same except for shopping girl decal.

I wanted to make something fun and colourful, to express the joy of shopping. I made it as if those shopping girls were trotting down colourful stairs in a fancy shopping mall. I bet those shopping bags are full of nail polishes, lucky girls! :P

先週はバッタバタな１週間でした。出張に行っていた旦那殿が家に戻る途中、車が故障。自宅から300㎞以上離れた場所だったので、近くの町で廃車にして同僚に乗せてもらってようやく帰宅。うちには車が１台しかないのですが（私は運転はしない）、小さな田舎町に暮らす私たちにとって車の有無は死活問題。速攻レンタカーを借りてカーディーラー巡りをして、その日中に買う車を決めました。家の購入を決めたときも数時間のスピード契約でしたが（詳しくはこちら）、今回も速かったです。私は購入までにリサーチにリサーチを重ねるのが好きなのですが、旦那殿の決断の速さには本当に舌を巻きます。ちなみに車種はジープ・チェロキー・トレイルホークというオフロード車。未舗装道路を行ったり冠水した道路を走ることもある田舎暮らしの人間には最適のようで。

で、とりあえず書類をすべて提出して今納車待ちです。ほっと一息ついたのでようやく爪を塗る時間が取れました。今回はまたFUNプレートを使用。出来上がりはこちら。

中指と薬指 : ベースはElcorazon Charm & Beauty No. 856。Fab Ur Nails FUN17プレートの長方形幾何学模様をYa Qin An Whiteでスタンプし、若草色、青、ピンクで色付けしてdecalを作成して爪に乗せる。次にFUN19プレートのショッピングガールの柄をYa Qin An Navyでスタンプし、これもdecalにして爪に乗せる。仕上げはGlisten & Glow HK Girlトップコート。

親指、人差し指、小指 : ショッピングガール以外はすべて同じ。

イメージは「新宿ルミネで買い物を終えてうっきうきなショッピングガールズ」。女の子の下の柄はカラフルな階段のイメージです。もう何年も行ってませんが、新宿ルミネってこんな感じのカラフルな階段があったようななかったような。女の子の柄が可愛いのでカラフルでポップな感じにしてみました。
