31DC2014 - Geometric: Matte 'n Gloss Geometric Mani

I have three manis I created about a month ago that I haven't posted yet. MoYou London announced about the rainbow contest around that time so I put off posting them in case I could use them for possible contest entries. How cheeky! lol

31DC2014 challenge started straight after the contest, so I tried finding a theme that matched those unposted manis.

Here is one of them. This is for Day 16 of 31DC2014 challenge, Geometric. I can't recall what I was thinking when I created this mani, but I think I just wanted to try matte x gloss. 

I started off with Sally Hansen Silk Onyx and stamped an asymmetric pattern from MoYou London Artist 03 with Mundo de Uñas Black. For ring finger, I also added a lip stamp from Bundle Monster BM02 with Mundo de Uñas Reddish. That's it! Super easy. To keep the matte & gloss, I didn't apply any top coat so this mani unfortunately didn't stay very long.

１か月ほど前に作ってまだ記事にしていないネイルが３点ほどあります。ちょうどその頃はMoYou LondonがRainbowコンテストやるよ～とアナウンスした頃で、もしかしてエントリー作品に使えるかも？と思って少し先延ばしにしていたのです（笑。結局どれも使えなかったので現在進行中の31DC2014チャレンジの方で合うテーマはないかな？ということで今回のネイルがDay 16 Geometrics（幾何学模様）のテーマに合致しました。出来上がりはこちら。

ベースはSally Hansen Silk Onyx。MoYou London Artist 03からアシメトリックな柄をMundo de Uñas Blackでスタンプ。薬指にはBundle Monster BM02から唇をMundo de Uñas Reddishでスタンプ。それだけ。超簡単。使用ポリッシュはこちら。

I love using this black satin Sally Hansen. It has subdued sparkles and makes an interesting contrast with glossy black

このSally Hansenの黒サテン、非常に重宝しています。ベースに黒を使いたいとき、ストレートな黒じゃつまらないな～ってときにこれに手が伸びます。今回はマットｘ艶のコントラストを楽しむネイルにしたのでトップコートなしです。

These asymmetric designs are great. See the pattern is skewed on the pointer? But it doesn't look obvious because of the asymmetry!

こういう左右非対称柄って大好きです。人差し指をよく見ると柄が非常に歪んでるんですが、左右非対称なのでほとんど目立たないという(ﾟ∀ﾟ) これが左右対称柄だったら・・・ﾁｰﾝ

今回のネイルはトップコートなしなのであまり長持ちしませんでした。Konad黒からMundoに切り替えて気づいたことは、Mundoは剥がれやすいということですかね。Konad黒を使用していた頃は引きずりを恐れてトップコートを塗らないで過ごすこともあったのですが、MundoでそれをやるとNGです。Mundoはトップコートで引きずることがあまりないという利点はあります。スタンピング専用ポリッシュも本当に一長一短ありますね。
