Cherry Blossom Mani with MoYou London Plates

Dec 6th Update: I made a YouTube tutorial and replaced the insta tutorial at the end of this post.

I saw the news the other day that UNESCO will register Japanese 'washi' paper to World Cultural Heritage, so I'm sporting another Japanesque mani to celebrate that. It's completely out of season but I couldn't help :)

For this mani, I started off with OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby, gorgeous gold satin, and stamped a Japanese pattern from MoYou London Suki 05 with Mundo de Uñas Black. Then, I stamped cherry blossoms from Suki 02 with Mundo de Uñas White and coloured in with homemade jellies I showed here. I then sprinkled some sparkles with Essence space queen, then finished off with OPI matte top coat. By the way, what I had around my cuticle before stamping in tutorial is PVA glue that I showed here. This helps cleanup easier.

For the inspiration of this mani, I went and google 'washi' in Japanese and came across this image. Then my mind was set. The background stamp is what I was wondering how to use for a while, but I'm glad I could finally get to use it!

Finished product, with OPI matte top coat

ベースは全爪OPI Love.Angel.Music.

polishes used (forgot to include Essence space queen which is a clear glitter topper)

homemade jelly - purple
homemade jelly - red
homemade jelly - pink
OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby

Mundo de Uñas White

At first sight you might think this is gold stamp over black base,
but it's actually the other way round

I'm glad I mattified, coz the sparkles pop this way
